Tyvek® reel is a reliable solution for safe and durable packaging in the medical, pharmaceutical and cosmetic fields.
Made from coated or uncoated Tyvek®, it provides optimal protection for devices being a breathable material consisting of pure polyethylene fibers, it has a number of benefits.
In addition to its tear and puncture resistance, it offers considerable protection against the infiltration of microbial agents.
In addition, its considerable peelability facilitates the opening of products with ease.
The reel can be made using three different variations of Tyvek®:

• 1073B,
• 1059B;
• 2FS.

This versatility allows the material to be adapted to specific needs.
In addition, the reel is compatible with various sterilisation methods, such as ethylene oxide (EO) and radiation, due to its chemical composition based on PE material.
The reel is made from uncoated Tyvek® 1073B is also suitable for steam sterilisation at 121°C (STEAM).
Encaplast® allows the reel to be customised through high-quality printing, with the option of including up to 8 colors or CMYK printing.
This also allows the content to be clearly identified and essential product information to be communicated.
The reel can be customised with the addition of colour change indicators.
The range of bands available for the reel varies from 16 mm to 1600 mm, this makes it compatible with different sizes and applications.
