Steri-Bag
Medical pouches for pharmaceutical component packaging
The Steri-Bag is used for the packaging of pharmaceutical components and provides excellent mechanical protection. The sealing of the product is made by fusion, therefore not peelable, ensuring maximum protection of the contents.
The Steri-Bag is available in two versions, depending on the material combination:
Tyvek® 1073B + HDPE Film
Tyvek® 1073B + Tyvek® 1073B
Tyvek® is a breathable material made from pure polyethylene fibres, known for its excellent protection against microbial penetration, tearing and perforation.
It also offers easy peelability when opening the package. The Tyvek® bag is suitable for sterilisation with ETO (Ethylene Oxide) and with steam at 121°C (STEAM sterilisation), thanks to its mechanical resistance to high temperatures.
Each bag is manufactured in an ISO 8 compliant environment, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and hygiene in line with the requirements of the pharmaceutical field.
The Steri-Bag is printed with a STEAM colour change indicator and dedicated text specifying the colour transition of the indicator after sterilisation.
Custom printing or different indicator colour options can also be provided according to specific customer requirements.
