The Medical Film for Packaging.

Customisation for the Medical and Pharmaceutical Industry

Composed by laminated materials of various weights, transparent medical film is used by packaging machines to create flexible or rigid packaging, providing a protective barrier and ensuring steam, gas and radiation sterilisation.
Hereby let’s illustrate the different types of laminations and their peculiarities, offering a customizable option for customers’ specific needs.

Film+Film Coupling.

Film+film lamination refers to a transparent film laminated material that offers high protection from germs and ensures the safety of the device within the packaging.
It can be made with different combinations such as PET/PE, PET/PP, OPA/PE, and weights can range from 40µ to 120µ.
This type of film provides a reliable and durable barrier against harmful external agents.

Film+Nonwoven Blue coupling.

The film+Nonwoven coupling, is particularly suitable for making printed and anonymous pouches with remarkable breathability.
The resulting packaging can be subjected to EO gas and steam sterilisation.
This PET/PP laminated material in transparent film offers high protection from germs and ensures the safety of the device inside the package.

Film+Tyvek® coupling.

Film+Tyvek® lamination offers a high microbial barrier compared to Kraft medical papers and excellent strength, porosity, and peelability characteristics when welded with different polymeric substrates.
Tyvek® is recommended when high linear mechanical strength and consistent permeability are required in medical device packaging.

PROTECTION

Exceptional resistance to microbial penetration

BREATHABLE

Material suitable for ETO sterilisation

EASY PEEL

Peelable material for easy opening

Packaging solutions with Tyvek® inserts.

Film+Medical Paper Coupling.

The film+medical paper laminate uses a moisture-resistant paper with a high barrier to bacteria and various weights from 60 to 100 g, coated or uncoated.
The clear film laminate offers protection from germs and ensures the safety of the device inside the package.

Rigid Film.

Rigid film is made from basic materials such as PETG, PP, PVC or PS and provides massive protection for the device.
This type of film is particularly suitable for devices that require strong and rigid protection.
