Tyvek® coil is a reliable solution for safe and durable packaging in the medical, pharmaceutical and cosmetic fields.
Made from coated or uncoated Tyvek®, it provides optimal protection for devices being a breathable material consisting of pure polyethylene fibers, it has a number of benefits.
In addition to its tear and puncture resistance, it offers considerable protection against the infiltration of microbial agents.
In addition, its considerable peelability facilitates the opening of products with ease.
The coil can be made using three different variations of Tyvek®:

• 1073B,
• 1059B;
• 2FS.

This versatility allows the material to be adapted to specific needs.
In addition, the coil is compatible with various sterilisation methods, such asethylene oxide (ETO) and irradiation, due to its chemical composition based on PE material.
The coil made from uncoated Tyvek® 1073B is also suitable for steam sterilisation at 121°C (STEAM). Encaplast allows the reel to be customised through high-quality printing, with the option of including up to 8 colors or four-color printing.
This also allows the content to be clearly identified and essential product information to be communicated.
The reel can be customised with the addition of spoiler indicators.
The range of bands available for the reel varies from 16 mm to 1600 mm, this makes it compatible with different sizes and applications.
