Adhesive system designed to undergo a chemical reaction during the sterilisation process
The spoilage indicator is an adhesive system designed to react chemically during the sterilisation phase in order to confirm the success of the process.
However, it is important to note that this indicator provides a simple indication that the sterilisation process is being carried out correctly according to the specified parameters, but it does not guarantee the sterility of the contents of the packages. This indicator is applied to both the inside and outside of packages intended for sterilisation. There are various types of this product, each designed to be compatible with different sterilisation methods, including:
- EO (Ethylene Oxide),
- steam (STEAM)
- radiation (Gamma and Beta Rays).
Each indicator has a specific color change, and the reference to the applicable standards is printed on it, along with the color change to be monitored.
